Colors for Health offers educational Seminars, Training Classes, and Small Group Panel Discussions focusing on how to make senior living and senior care environments healthier and more fiscally sound. We offer these seminars to colleges, universities, social work agencies, senior centers, interior design firms, architectural firms, and other professionals interested in creating or managing senior living environments using strategic color design that is both therapeutic and cost effective.
Our Seminars provide a rich overview of the uses and advantages of strategic color, light and texture across a range of environments in which seniors and their family members can be impacted.
Our Training Classes provide a more intense 3-hour study of specific steps using strategic color placement to support patient independence and help prevent accidents resulting in lower labor costs. Because the perception of color is impacted by lighting, we also cover its challenges and options throughout the discussion.
Senior care, assisted living, 55+ independent living centers, and even families caring for a senior relative can often benefit from our Small Group Discussion Panels to educate their staff members in many of the day-to-day sight, perception, and anxiety issues that can arise in seniors when color, light, and texture have not been given enough consideration.
